BAND Whether and accomplished instrument player, a novice or someone who is thinking about starting to play their first notes the Wing Band offers you the opportunity to expand your horizons and develop your existing skills. The original Wing Corps of Drums has expanded to include any instruments to become a Wing Band. Cadets and volunteer staff with the common interest of music can attend training days and weekends to learn and practice their skills toward performances at events including formal parades. The RAF Air Cadets also hold national music camps which provides the opportunity to develop skills further with cadets from across the country. In gaining skills cadets are awarded badges as part of the progressive training syllabus from Bronze to Gold in various instrument categories.
