An ex-Air Cadet from 147 (Camborne & District) Squadron has beaten strong competition to win the gold medal in the Discus event at the Invictus Games to make the achievement even more remarkable Lucie Holt (Roberts-Clarke) was not even aware that she would be competing in the discus event until an hour before the event and had not thrown a discus for three years.

Lucie is hoping to gain further success in other events and secure a place on the Team GB for the next Paralympic Games.
